This will be a short guide on ways you can entertain yourself if you are on lockdown. There will be variety, so you can stay healthy and have fun at the same time. On to the tips!

  1. Cooking.

The first tip is to cook. Some of you may already be into cooking, with a decent amount of experience, while some might be totally new, not knowing anything. And that is totally fine!
Cooking is a fun activity to invest time into. You will have fun doing it and get some delicious food afterwards. Some of you may be living on your own, and some might be living at home with your parents. Whatever your living situation is, you and the people you live with will enjoy the outcome. So put on some music and start cooking! Challenge yourself!

2. Stay active.

The second tip is to stay active! What I have struggled with a lot during the first lockdown was that I felt like I was beginning to become unhealthy and not that active. I felt like a Zombie just sitting around all day and when that cycle first began it was super hard to get out of again! So my second tip is to stay active, make sure your mind and your body get taken care of! I’m not saying you will have to do something exhausting, but just go for a walk and get some fresh air or do some light activities at home. It will help physically and mentally!

3. Spend time with your close ones.

With this step you will spend some time with your loved ones. But don’t worry! You won’t be that close! Catching up with family and friends was a very important thing for me during lockdown, so facetiming og talking on the phone really helped me with feeling alone. Missing family and friends is though, so just by getting some contact you will feel better. Play games online, talk on phone. Keeping in touch helps with the loneliness and i bet they appreciate you calling.
